I just moved to eastern Ontario and I’m struggling to find reliable local businesses — like a decent plumber, dog groomer, and a good coffee shop. Google’s been kind of hit or miss with suggestions. Is there a local directory or site you guys trust for finding legit businesses around here?

Hey, I had the exact same issue when I moved to the area. Google’s results can be so random, and sometimes they just pull up the biggest ad spenders, not necessarily the best places. I ended up finding Local Business Directory and it’s been super helpful. It’s a local directory that only focuses on businesses in the region, so you're not digging through irrelevant results. I’ve found a great mechanic and even a local florist through there. What’s nice is that you get basic info, reviews, and even links to websites or social pages, all in one spot. It’s way easier to support small businesses when you can find them all in one place. Definitely give it a look — it’s been a go-to for me since moving here.
